The challenge presented to the College Street Group by Cazenovia College was to find a way to reach the College's wide spread, but limited number of alumni while effectively gaining financial support for the institution. Cazenovia College, one of the 30 oldest colleges in the country, has a unique history. Once a seminary turned two-year, all-girls college, turned four-year, co educational institution, the College has a difficult time maintaining an image amid all the changes that have taken place throughout the College's history. The College has a variety of unique alumni in equally as unique jobs and geographical locations. Because the College was looking for a different way to reach their alumni, The College Street Group created a direct mail piece for the Cazenovia Fund that used student artwork from the College's Art and Design Department. We formulated our "ask" in the form of support for today's students to follow their dreams into tomorrow. The result was an increase in contributions to the Cazenovia Fund and an increase in correspondence with alumni all over the country. Not only did this help to build the College's Annual Fund, it also acted as a way to reintroduce the College to alumni that have been out of touch with the school over the years.
