Tufts University School of Medicine approached The College Street Group to help launch a joint master's program in conjunction with Emerson College's Graduate Program in Communications. The joint program was created to respond to the growing need for skilled professionals who can craft and deliver campaigns that promote good health and disease prevention; plan, influence and evaluate health care policy and enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities. Knowing we needed to attract the attention of a variety of professionals who could take advantage of this program, we created a poster to hang in various academic halls, employment offices, hospital bulletin boards, and at subway and T-Stops all over the nation. We designed the poster in a bright red ink to attract attention. In the background of the poster, we called out different health care concerns, such as tuberculosis, cancer, substance abuse and heart disease and screened them onto the poster's background using an UV coating. The poster caused a tremendous response that immediately filled the program with qualified candidates from careers in hospital administration, advertising and medicine.
